Running. There it is. That word that I love and sometimes hate. The first question I asked my doctor was, "how soon can I run again?" See, I've just gotten back into the groove after a 10 week injury during the winter. I don't want to lose my mojo again. Doc and recovery pamphlet said 6 weeks. No exercise that uses abdominal muscles for 6 weeks. 6 longs weeks in my mind.

This too Shall Pass
I'm ending my second week recovering from a laproscopic hysterectomy. I'm out of work 4-6 weeks. Hopefully, closer to 4 as I am starting to get a bit stir crazy. Day time tv is horrible and there is only so much reading I can do in a day. I spent a good bit of my time on twitter, reading random blogs about fitness, eating right and running.

So, in the meantime, I must not sink into self-pity. Easier said than done because all I really want to do is run.
